They couldn't help it...

It was during the pandemic in early January 2022 that Jon decided to send Cath a message on eHarmony. He didn't know at the time that it would be one of best decisions he ever made. Through video calls on Discord they had their first dates playing video games like Moving out and Overcooked. Those games known to break and test any friendships were where they instead proved their ability to understand and communicate with each other, creating an unbreakable team bond.

Finally seeing each other in person, they instantly felt the symbiotic connection, the compatible quirkiness, the kindred humor; her smile, her fun-loving and down to earth personality, his quick wit, his kindness and honesty. Discussions were easy, fun and light. They quickly fell in love and what used to feel like loneliness henceforth felt complete.

The Cat Test...

After a few months of growing love and friendship, they finally decided to take a step and moved in together in their first flat together. The experience only confirmed how well their lifestyles intertwined, enjoying every little moment they could have together.

Seeing how happy Jon made Cath and how calm he was, Lindy, Jasmine and Maximus quickly adopted him - because all cat owners know it’s the only way it works - and they finally found the best lap to rest and nap on.

The Power Couple

In the end of October 2022 was the moment where some of you guests finally got the opportunity to get to know Jon when he joined Cloud Chamber. A thing that would normally make two people tired to see each other all day everyday, just, yet again, confirmed how good of a team they made. Never bored of each other, just bored of some others. On the occasions where they put their work efforts together, good things happened and the team’s efficiency was only increased.

It's Official, they're getting married!

For the curious ones, it all started with a simple conversation where Jon told Cath earlier in the year that he absolutely wanted to get married one day, but since an engagement has officially no expiry date, why not just get engaged and undertake all of their common projects in the order they want?

Yes, probably one of the simplest engagement ever, but possibly the most representative of their relationship it could ever have been: simple, easy, unpretentious and full of promises and projects both in the works and waiting to be fulfilled.
